What’s the first step?

The script! This is the backbone of your video and we will need it before I can start animating, a good script will make your project excel or fail. Make sure you understand the message you want to convey and that it’s clear and concise.

Can you help with the script writing?

Yes I work with a talented script writer who can make sure your message is on target and that it’s grammatically correct! We can also take any documentation that you have and create the script from scratch if needed.

Once the script is done, what’s the next step?

The voice over, I won’t be able to start animating until I have the voice over. Once the script is finalized, I will send a word out to my voice over talent pool. I will send you a link once I get a few auditions so that you can pick the one you like the most.

If you have your own voice over I can also use that and we can skip the audition process.

How is the animation process?

Once the voice over is recorded I will start the animation process. I will do a first run through of the animation and then share that with you. At that point you can tell me what you would like me change and we will repeat the process until you are happy with it.

But how about a storyboard?

Unless you have a very complex cinematic concept they are overkill when it comes to explainer videos. Avoiding them here will help you keep the costs down.

What else do you need from me?

Any branding materials or graphics that you think might help including branding guidelines, fonts, color scheme, photos, illustrations and logos.
